Seattle’s First TransitScreen Unveiled Today During Press Event at the Seattle Municipal Tower with SDOT Director Scott Kubly

The City of Seattle and the Seattle Department of Transportation hosted an unveiling of the first TransitScreen in the City of Seattle today at the Seattle Municipal Tower. TransitScreen's cofounder and COO Ryan Croft was in Seattle for the event. “We are thrilled to partner with a world-class city like Seattle,” said Ryan. “Together with SDOT, we want to make it easy for locals and visitors to move safely around the city by providing a complete picture of their multimodal options.” The Seattle DOT Director Scott Kubly hosted the event on behalf of the City of Seattle, and announced a private/public partnership between SDOT and TransitScreen to provide and install 10 TransitScreen displays throughout downtown Seattle. “We’re leveraging technology to make information about transportation more readily available,” said SDOT Director Scott Kubly. “By streaming information about nearby choices into building lobbies, we can make it easier for people to travel around Seattle.” Read the full press release below:
