At TransitScreen, we always want to make sure we're providing you with the most up-to-date information possible. The world of mobility is changing faster than ever, and you can count on us to make sure you're not missing anything. When dockless bikeshare first premiered in DC almost six months ago (wow!), we knew we had to get that data.
We believe in open data, and that everyone should have access to all the information they need to make the best decision possible. In this case, that means it isn't just enough to show the traditional, city-subsidized docked bikeshares when the dock may be empty or there may be a dockless bike closer to the building. And in cities such as Seattle, there is no longer a docked bikeshare, meaning there wouldn't be any information about bikes at all!
We're pleased to report that we now have access to Mobike, Spin, Lime Bike, ofo, and Jump Bike data to display across our network of screens. If you notice that your building's screen does not yet have this data, and you want it to, get in touch with us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll be happy to make it happen for you.
This could be you!
(Note: We currently only have Spin data in DC, and Lime Bike data in DC and Seattle. For all others, we are able to display the companies in any city where they have bikes available.)
